Finally Finished!

I’ve been working on this since 2014.

Dollhouse Bedspread. My design inspired by Mary Konior's Butterfly edging

It was on the back burner for a long time, because my ambition outweighed my experience…

The thread used is DMC 100. I did do some other miniature pieces.

I was really tempted to abandon this a few times – my planning wasn’t what it should have been and I made about five or six attempts before I got the edging more or less right. But I am glad I kept going.

    I love it! 🙂
    Such fine thread.
I am working on the dragon at the moment (seahorse alterations) however I am adding a few beads to the wings and body, because it is going to be a talisman with spelled beads I will write about in my next fantasy series book. 🙂 Fun.

Persistence pays off, especially when you can still remember “where you were” the last time you touched a given project! Looks like they were all beautiful and well worth the effort. Enjoy these slow-ripening fruits of your labor. Thanks for sharing them!
